Where I’m from

Although Natalie was born in St. Louis, MO, she has lived in Simi Valley since she was 4 years old and considers herself an LA native. She has developed a network all over SoCal graduating high school from Agape Academy in Mission Viejo, studying dance with Patsy Swayze in Simi Valley, performing in community theater at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, and earning an Associate’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Moorpark College.

Experience:

Natalie has performed both onstage and onscreen all over the world. Regionally, Natalie has performed at 5-Star Theatricals, East West Players, Musical Theater West, and McCoy Rigby Entertainment. She has toured five times as “Rudolph” in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with press events on dozens of local television networks, radio shows, and magazines. She has also performed on Disney Cruise Line, in the Classic Music Festival in Austria, and at Disneyland. She currently still does improv work at Universal Studios Hollywood. On screen Natalie has worked for major networks like ABC, Nickelodeon, and Amazon Prime. She is a member of Actors Equity Association and AGVA, and she continues to study acting at Beverly Hills Playhouse.

What I Teach:

Natalie brings her years of experience, training, and commitment to the success of her students to every lesson. She works with many individuals from different backgrounds including actors who want to prioritize vocal health, people who want to add singing to their set of special skills, and singers who are looking to further develop their technique and expand their repertoire. Natalie teaches many singing styles including classical, musical theater, pop, rock, alternative and country. She has also helped students with accent reduction, technique for voice over, and vocal character development.

Testimonials

“I’ve just started working with Natalie Holt MacDonald, and in a short period of time, she has strengthened my voice and helped me find a tone I didn’t know I had. She is patient and kind, and an expert in her field. I highly recommend her.”

~ Cameron Meyer, actor on Snowfall and Truth Be Told

“I recommend Natalie to all my students who need voice work and here’s why: she gets results! Not only is she a gifted singer herself but she can identify the specific things that each individual needs in order to improve. There’s no cookie cutter here. My students report that after just one lesson they’re already singing better, are more connected to their breathing to empower their voice, and are having fun doing it. She really cares and is devoted to each person that walks into her studio.”

~ Art Cohan, instructor and actor at Beverly Hills Playhouse

"Natalie is an amazing coach! She is knowledgeable and an amazing vocalist herself so she really speaks to you from experience. I have trained with a lot of vocal coaches, and when I first starting training with her, my voice was continually getting hoarse, but after only a few weeks of lessons, my voice is in better shape than it’s been in years! Run, don’t walk to Natalie for lessons! I highly recommend her!

~ Andrea Kelly, actor and commedienne
